Sunday Session Returns 7th of February

by Sam Tweedlie

That's right! Following a short break in January the highly acclaimed Bute Sunday Session will return this Sunday, 7th of February at 4:30 pm in The Argyll Arms.

The weekly acoustic music session is the product of Paul Templeman, Paul Melvin and Sam Tweedlie who make up local group Acousticrat. The past two years has seen some stunning acts visit the Island both from the UK and from as far away as America and this year will be no exception, "we have some unbelievably talented performers booked for 2010" said Sam of Acousticrat. With the support of local music fans and local performers The Sunday Session has gone from strength to strength in popularity. This year will also see the debut of local band RISE as occasional hosts for the show

The original Bute Sunday session will continue every Sunday until 2011. Local performers are encouraged to come down and have a go as The Sunday Session operates an open mic policy every week.

Check out www.myspace.com/butesundaysession for details on upcoming performing artists.
