Its Birthday Time for Bute FM

Bute FM, the islands community radio station celebrates its 1st Birthday on 15th July.

The station has become a focal point of the community since it went live at 12 noon on 15th July 2009.

Staffed entirely by volunteers and relying partly on the goodwill of its many listeners and supporters, the station has shown just what can happen when a community pulls together!

An extended day of programmes is promised to celebrate their big day and they go live at 5.45 am.
