Get into the Christmas spirit at Bute’s Mount Stuart

Bute is set to become all Christmassy with two festive events at the Victorian gothic Mount Stuart.

Christmas Party in the Crypt, set within the atmospheric surrounds of the catacombs, is sure to get you into the festive spirit on Sunday, December 18.

Presented by the Original Bute Sunday Session, the evening of entertainment will feature Andy White, Acousticrat and Rise.

But don’t hang your party stockings up yet - the following evening is the Carol Service by Candlelight in Marble Chapel!

Tickets for Christmas Party in the Crypt cost £15 and are available from Rothesay Post Office, Musicker and Mount Stuart.

A light buffet and free transport to and from venue are included in the ticket price.

Tickets for the Carol Service are priced £6, with all proceeds going to charity and can be purchased from Wm. Skelton and Co, High Street Rothesay - please call 01700 502881.

Following the service in the Chapel, mulled wine and mince pies will be served by the fireplace in the Marble Hall.

Visitors to the Carol Service are advised to wear warm clothes.
