Found - at last!

If you are a pet owner, then you know the feeling of utter desperation when a much loved pet goes missing!

Thats how many people felt over the last few days as listeners of Bute Fm, the islands community radio station, listened in for updates on the plight of Katie, a long haired German Sheperd dog belonging to Brenda Sutherland.

Katie had gone missing on Wednesday 10th February in the area around Rhubodach, and despite search parties going out there and numerous requests for sightings being broadcast on the radio, a lot of people were begining to fear the worst.

But thankfully on Sunday 21st February, a close friend of Brenda's named Georgette Denholm, found Katie, a little dishevelled and a fair bit thinner, but nevertheless, safe and well.

Brenda even called in to the Bute Fm studio that afternoon to thank everyone who had helped in the search for Katie and for everyone's well wishes and thoughts throughout the 12 days!

We all love a happy ending!
