Actor David Hayman to be Bute Highland Games chieftain

  • Actor David Hayman, who set up the charity Spirit Aid, will be this year's Bute Highland Games chieftain

This year's Bute Highland Games chieftain will be David Hayman, the TV star and founder of the Spirit Aid charity.

David, who has starred in Lynda La Plante's 'Crime and Retribution' on ITV will take over the role of chieftain at the games on Saturday 21st August.

The Spirit Aid Charity was founded in 2001 by David, which has made him a well-known figure on Bute through his regular fundraising work. He also spends several months a year visiting relief projects with young people in Malawi.
