Textile Arts Group - Crafty Notions
Crafty Notions is a textile arts group that has been going for the last 6 years.
We meet every fortnight on Friday night between 7.00 and 9.00 pm at the Green Tree Cafe in the Moat Centre. We use the time to share skills and work on a new project/subject every month. We have also made a few group pieces such as the Poetry Book for Rothesay Library, and a wall hanging made up of over 150 individual embellished inches of fabric in colours of the rainbow. This is currently on display at the Green Tree Cafe.
We also run a 2-day summer school at the Ballianlay Hall at the Straad.
The group welcomes new members and visitors. Cost per session is £2.00.
