Welcome to the Isle of Bute branch Royal British Legion Scotland

Yes, we now have an active R.B.L.S Branch on the Isle of Bute. We meet once a month, if you are ex-services or merchant navy, coastguard, womens land army, womens timber corps, Bevin boys or an A.C.F instructor you can join as a full member if not you can still join as an associate member. The fees are £6.50 for full members and £7.00 for associate members.

The branch have now twinned with Stamford branch in Lincolnshire in England, this will hopefully forge links with the English Royal British Legion.

Saturday the 30th June 2012 we will be holding our 3rd Armed Forces Gala day, if anyone would like to appear at our event please get in touch with Andy Marsden on 01700505718...or pop into our new office at deanhood place...Or if you would like a stall at the event pop into our office.

The next meeting of the branch is on the 3rd October at 8pm at the Black bull, followed by our normal quiz. Which is now £1 per person and the prize is a bottle of wine.....

On October 29th at the Pavilion we are hoding a Ceilidh night . THIS HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF TICKET SALES

We now have an office in Deanhood Place, please feel free to pop in and have a coffee and a chat.

Dont forget ...on the 26th June we have the Armed forces day Gala at Guildford square loads of music, charity stalls and dance displays.

Please come along and enjoy yourselves and show your support of the past, present and future armed forces
