YOUTH CLUBS

Ballochgoy Clubs are on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights - During school term times. Clubs are open to all aged 8 years +.

 

SUMMER PLAYSCHEME
For two weeks every summer the annual playscheme provides " Physical, Educational & Cultural" activities for aprox 54 kids age 8-14 years. But really its 2 weeks of fun packed activities & trips on & off the island - these include ten pin bowling, swimming at the waterfront, transport museum, Kelburn Country Park and much more

 

HOLIDAY DIVERSIONARY ACTIVITIES
During Easter & October holidays there are a variety of activities with priority for those who attend the clubs. These are usually trips off of the island - recent trips have been to Peoples Pallace, Breahead & Maratime Museum and Glasgow Climbing Centre.
 
 
FAMILY LEARNING GROUP
Members of the family project plan and help run various activities on & off the island. Recent activities include trips to funworld, Blairdrummond Safari Park, Finlaystone Park and family fun days in Largs. On the Island we have run Funday Sunday Afternoon Sessions in the Moat centre, swimming together in rothesay pool, trips to the Beech & much more. Again this group is for all members of the family & all children must be accompanied by an adult.

 

PARENT & TODDLER GROUP
Parent & Toddler group meets every Monday & Thursday from 1-30-3, during termtime. Our support worker ensures that there are lots of fun & games for all the wee ones & provides a healthy snack to keep them going. Parents can enjoy chatting in a relaxed atmosphere while getting to make new friends over a coffee.
