Argyll College
Argyll College was formed in 1997 and now consists of 13 learning centres across the mainland and islands of Argyll.
Argyll College has a formal partnership with North Highland College and is a full partner in the UHI Millennium Institute (UHI), the future University of the Highlands and Islands.
Whether you are interested in a full or part-time course, whether you are taking your first tentative steps towards further education or building on your previous achievements, you will find the learning centre staff at Rothesay welcoming and helpful in assisting you to choose the course that best meets your needs.
Rothesay Learning Centre is equipped with computers, audio and video-conferencing facilities, email and internet access, allowing students to keep in touch with tutors and fellow students.
Each student will have a learning centre introduction and local learning centre staff will provide a range of support for the duration of your studies.
Argyll College will also endeavour to accommodate the unique background and needs of each learner.

Argyll College UHI is one of 15 partners in the UHI Millennium Institute, an educational partnership offering higher education across the Highlands and Islands. Through Argyll College’s learning centres, UHI is able to work towards providing learning opportunities of the highest standard, through modern technologies and media.It is now possible to participate in university-level study without having to leave the local community.
An increasing range of individual modules, HNC/Ds, ordinary, honours and postgraduate degrees are now available at Argyll College through flexible distance learning.
